The Ritual

Care, Crowned

Golden oil poured into a warm open palm

01

Warm

A few drops between your palms, until you feel the oil turn from cool to warm. This is the ritual beginning, not a step to rush.

02

Anoint

Part the hair in sections and lay the oil along the scalp with flat fingertips. Lengths and ends last, with whatever remains.

03

Still

Slow circles for two minutes, then leave it thirty minutes — or overnight under a linen wrap. Rinse warm, never hot.

04

Repeat

Two to three evenings a week. The rhythm matters more than the quantity, and the scalp asks for less than you think.

Most rituals start showing themselves in the first two weeks. Give it the full ninety days to become yours.

The Blend

Cold-Pressed Argan, Leading a Royal Blend Of 41 Botanical Oils

The argan is pressed from kernels harvested in the Souss valley by a women’s cooperative we buy from directly, in lots small enough to trace to the season they were picked.

It is paired with black seed and jojoba because argan alone sits high on the hair — the lighter oils carry it to the scalp, where the work is done. Cedarwood, amber and sandalwood give the blend its dry finish rather than any added fragrance.

Every lot is blended in batches of three hundred and rested seventy-two hours before bottling.

Test basis

The fourteen-day figure is a placeholder pending the results of the consumer-use study now in progress. Method, participant count and date will be published here in full before it is claimed anywhere on this page.

Questions

Before You Buy

Yes, with the dose adjusted. Coily and coarse hair takes five to seven drops through the lengths; fine or oily-prone hair does better with three drops on the scalp only. Colour-treated hair is safe — there are no sulphates, silicones or mineral oil in the blend, and it does not strip tone.
